LADbible's £27M Bet & Penske's 25 Title Roll-Up

The Digital Dealflow

Good Morning,

LBG Media kicked off a busy week by acquiring 75% of Uncovered, Europe’s top-ranked TikTok partner. The London agency fetched an initial £26.8M in cash, with an earnout structure pushing the total deal value up to £33.8M. The talent-management consolidation continues to run stateside, where Reign Maker Group took a majority stake in Hyphen HQ, the management firm launching HyphenShare, a profit-sharing and options program that hands creators and managers equity in the agency they are building.

In legacy media, Penske Media acquired Vox Media's remaining digital brands, including The Verge, Eater, SB Nation, POPSUGAR, The Dodo, and Thrillist, folding them into a new subsidiary, PMX. That makes Penske the largest digital publisher with 25 titles. Capital kept flowing toward creator IP, where Invisible Narratives, secured partnerships with Verance Capital and BC Partners Credit to deploy more than $300M into creator franchises, starting with $25M tied to its Skibidi Toilet buy.

On the public-markets front, Bending Spoons, the Milan-based owner of Vimeo, WeTransfer, and Eventbrite, filed for a Nasdaq IPO seeking up to $1.62B at a roughly $19B valuation. And Snap spun its generative-AI video team into a new company, Dotmo, taking an equity stake and a tech license in exchange for the talent, with CTO Bobby Murphy as lead investor.

Whether you are at VidCon or Cannes this week, you might've missed Mark and Kylie sitting in a tree as Meta partnered with Kylie Jenner on new, cheaper smart glasses.
